About Us

The Atlantic Region – Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (ARCASN) is a regional association and affiliate of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN).​

The purpose of this Region is to provide an organized body to promote the advancement of nursing education and research in Atlantic Canadian schools of nursing and to collaborate with the other Regions in meeting the objectives of the CASN/ACESIRA. ARCASN includes the four Atlantic provinces: Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick
